How we checked this case: Regulatory measures and attributed customer reports. Appeal scope preserved. No finding that every customer lost money or that a new company assumed old claims.

TGI AG payout delays: what customers can do

Waiting for money: start with the promise you were given

A rebate stops arriving. A promised payment date passes. Then a message offers a new agreement. For a TGI customer, these can look like one problem: getting money back. But they may involve different promises.

This report concerns TGI AG in Vaduz, Liechtenstein, and tgi.li. Keep the company named on your signed contract separate from the brand on a new website.

What customers have reported

In a report updated on 21 October 2026, NEWS described a customer who put nearly €70,000 into TGI gold. She said regular payments stopped in late July. Another customer was still waiting after an eight-week payout period.

The same report says TGI attributed longer processing times to checks connected with regulatory measures and payouts. This is the company's explanation, not confirmation that a particular payment has been scheduled.

October Trustpilot reviews also include overdue-payment complaints, alongside positive reports of payments received. Reviews describe individual experiences. A payment to another customer does not settle whether your own amount is due or has been paid.

What the FMA decisions mean

Austria's FMA warned on 22 April 2026 that TGI lacked permission for banking activities requiring a licence there. Its August update records an order stopping unauthorised commercial deposit-taking. That order was not legally final.

Liechtenstein's 18 September notice says an appeal temporarily paused one measure concerning money already held under Customer Basic 2%, Sales Premium and Sofortrabatt. The immediate stop on selling and publicly offering those products remained.

The appeal had not settled whether the measure was legally correct.

These decisions do not give every customer the same repayment date. A regulatory restriction and your individual claim are different questions.

TGI's published statement of 4 June rejected fraud and money-laundering allegations and said it was cooperating with investigators. That earlier denial does not cancel the later regulatory notices. An investigation is not a conviction.

Rebate, gold delivery or cash repayment?

Before asking for a withdrawal, check which of these your documents promise:

  • Rebate: part of the purchase price returned under the agreed schedule. List each missing payment and its due date.
  • Gold delivery: a stated quantity of metal. Check the delivery date, storage terms and any delivery charge.
  • Cash repayment or buyback: money instead of gold. Ask which agreement creates that right and how the amount is calculated.

For example, an account showing a gold value does not explain what cash you would receive. The calculation may involve weight, a price on a particular date and deductions. Request each figure separately, with the contract clause relied on.

Do not treat an online balance, a purchase receipt and proof of allocated gold as interchangeable. Ask what record identifies any gold said to belong to you and where it is held.

Does Trust Gold International take over your TGI claim?

The website trustgold.international names Trust Gold International Ltd, formerly INVICTA Markets Ltd, in Mauritius. That is a different legal name from TGI AG in Liechtenstein.

Its FAQ describes gold products and says a buyback before delivery is voluntary. It also says the contract controls the delivery period. Those current terms do not establish the rights under an older TGI agreement.

Before accepting a transfer or replacement contract, ask:

  1. Which company will owe me the money or gold?
  2. What exact amount or quantity will it accept?
  3. Will I give up a claim against TGI AG?
  4. Will the payment date, deductions or place for resolving disputes change?

Get the answers in the proposed agreement. A familiar logo, salesperson or account balance cannot answer these questions for you. For a large amount, have a qualified adviser review the agreement before signing.

What to do if your payment is overdue

If you suspect deception in a recent payment, contact your bank or payment provider promptly. Explain the facts and ask whether a recall or dispute is possible. The options depend on how you paid, the timing and your country.

Then put together a short record:

  1. Find the contract. Save the version you accepted, the product name, invoice and payment receipt. Note the legal company and bank recipient.
  2. Make a timeline. List what you paid, what you received, each due date and any change promised later. Keep rebates separate from return of the purchase price.
  3. Ask for an account of your claim. Use the contact route in your existing paperwork. Request the amount due, any deductions, the reason for delay and a firm payment date. Keep the answer.
  4. Preserve your options. Take an overdue or disputed claim to a qualified lawyer or consumer adviser in the relevant country. Ask about deadlines before agreeing to a settlement or new contract.
  5. Report suspected fraud with the evidence. Give local police the recipient, dates and transaction references. A complaint to a financial regulator serves a different purpose from recovering a private debt. Our reporting guide helps you organise the information.

Do not send another payment just because someone says it will unlock the first one. Check unexpected refund offers too; our recovery-service guide explains the warning signs.

Need help making sense of your TGI documents?

If you contacted TGI, paid money and are now waiting for payment or gold, you can discuss your situation in a free phone consultation.
