We publish verified reports on chargeback scams, fake brokers, fake recovery services and other fraud schemes — researched by our own team and cross-checked against reports submitted by readers before anything goes live. Alongside that, we maintain a list of investment platforms we've reviewed and verified, and we offer free, no-obligation help to anyone who has already lost money and isn't sure what to do next.

What we do#

• Scam reports — named companies and schemes, checked against our methodology before publishing, with sources linked on every report.
• Explainers and guides — plain-language pieces on how specific scam types work and how to recognize them before you're targeted.
• Verified platforms — a list of platforms our team has reviewed. Where a listed platform can be introduced to a visitor, any compensation we may receive for that introduction is disclosed on the page itself — see our Terms for how that works.
• Free help — if you've already lost money, our Get help page connects you with someone on our team for a free consultation on next steps. We never charge an upfront fee for this, and we say so explicitly because fake "recovery" services charging exactly that fee are one of the schemes we report on.

Our independence#

We don't accept payment to remove, alter, or influence a published report, and we don't charge the people we help. A correction request is reviewed the same way regardless of who sends it — see below.
