Quotex withdrawal problem: start with the payment status
If your Quotex withdrawal has not arrived, first establish where it stopped. Is the request still waiting for approval? Has the platform rejected it? Or does it say the money was sent, while your bank shows nothing?
Those situations need different evidence. A missing identity document, a disputed account closure and a payment sent to the wrong details are not the same problem. Nor is a trading loss the same as money withheld from an available balance.
There is also a separate reason for caution: financial regulators have issued warnings about Quotex. Our view is that those warnings are a strong reason to pause new deposits and check your position. They do not, by themselves, prove the cause of your particular withdrawal problem.
What have regulators said about Quotex and Qxbroker?
On 9 April 2025, Pakistan’s SECP named Qxbroker (Quotex), at qxbroker.com/en/, as unauthorised in Pakistan. It advised people against depositing or sharing financial details and referred the platform to other authorities for action.
Portugal’s CMVM has also warned about Quotex/Maxbit LLC and Quotex/Awesomo Ltd, listing several domains including quotex.io and qxbroker.com. Its finding concerns financial-intermediation permissions in Portugal. These are country-specific warnings, not a worldwide court judgment.
On 23 October 2026, quotex.io/en/ redirected to quotex.com/en/. The destination names ON SPOT GROUP LLC as the owner of quotex.com. Older warnings name other entities. Keep the company name in your own agreement; a historical warning does not by itself identify your current contract partner.
The website also excludes certain countries, including the United States, Canada and EEA countries. Germany and Austria are in the EEA. Do not try to solve an access restriction by using a false address or another person’s identity.
How long does Quotex say withdrawals take?
The website FAQ gives a usual range of one to five days. Its linked non-trading regulations use a different measure: clause 7.9 allows seven days for a decision, with exceptions for suspicious transactions and technical failures.
Neither statement is an unconditional promise that money reaches your bank by that date. Ask support which stage your request has reached and which rule it is applying. Save the terms that applied when you requested payment.
The regulations also generally tie withdrawals to the deposit method, with exceptions. This is relevant if a card has expired or a payment account has closed. Ask for an approved alternative in writing rather than entering someone else’s account details.
What should you ask support?
Send one clear message through the contact channel reached from your established account or website. Include your account ID, withdrawal reference, request date, amount and currency. Never include your password or a banking code.
Use the question that matches your situation:
- Still pending: “What is holding up request [reference]? What exact document or action is needed, and when will you decide?”
- Marked paid: “Please provide the transfer reference, destination and payment date so my payment provider can trace it.”
- Rejected or account closed: “Which rule was applied, what activity does it concern, and what happens to my remaining balance? How can I challenge the decision?”
These questions are more useful than repeatedly asking when the money will arrive. Keep the replies together so you can show a payment provider or complaint body the sequence.
What if you are asked for documents or more money?
Identity checks can be part of financial services. A request arriving through a stranger’s Telegram account is a different matter. Confirm the request through the existing account channel and check who will receive the documents. Do not send identity papers to an unsolicited “withdrawal helper”.
A demand for a separate tax, insurance deposit or unlocking payment deserves scrutiny. Do not pay it merely because someone says it is the last step. Ask for the contractual basis and recipient, and discuss the demand with your payment provider. This is a warning about what to do if such a demand occurs, not a finding that every Quotex account receives one.
If you suspect deception or an unauthorised payment, contact your bank or payment service promptly. Explain what you actually authorised and what failed. Ask about the available dispute process and its deadline. Investment losses are not automatically refundable through a card dispute.
Can you recover money already paid?
The route depends on the problem. A transfer shown as sent may need tracing. A rejected withdrawal may need a formal complaint with the contract and account history. Suspected fraud needs the payment trail and an appropriate report. For cryptocurrency, keep the transaction hash and destination address and notify the sending exchange.
Record deposits, cash received and the disputed balance separately. Preserve any rule cited in an account-closure message. Our blocked-withdrawal guide explains how to build a useful case file, while our licence-check guide helps you check the firm relevant to your country.
