What are you buying from Quantiva Pro?
The quantivaproprogram.com website describes education and tools for building trading strategies. Its footer names EMFX Ltd, company number 14499975. The offer features Tom Quinzi and Scott Taylor.
This matters when identifying a problem. A fee for a course or software is different from money deposited with a broker. A prop-firm challenge is another separate purchase: it is a test run under that firm's rules, usually with targets and loss limits.
Get a written quote showing the total program price, software licences, instalments and extra services. The trading capital mentioned in the advertisement is not a confirmed course price.
Does Quantiva Pro offer a refund?
The public policy says standard purchases, deposits and software licences are non-refundable. It also says a payment plan commits the buyer to its remaining balance. That is the seller's policy; it does not settle every consumer's legal rights.
A separate section describes a money-back guarantee that is not included as standard. It requires a written agreement signed by both sides, along with use and participation requirements. These include a trade log, use of the included support and trading on a demonstration account rather than risking real funds.
The policy describes a typical 90-day period and a request within 14 days after it ends. It also mentions a 14-day deadline for signing or submitting the agreement, while other clauses require the agreement before or at purchase. Get that timing clarified in writing before paying; do not rely on a spoken promise that the paperwork can come later.
An approved request can take up to 60 days for review and payment under the stated process. Your own signed agreement matters. Keep the version supplied when you bought, because today's website may not be the version you accepted.
The policy also makes broad statements about waiving cancellation rights. Those statements are not a legal ruling on your purchase. Consumer protections vary by country, product and consent process; a seller cannot simply remove rights that the applicable law makes mandatory.
Backtests and live trading are different evidence
The white paper describes historical strategy tests and separate claimed live results with an FXBlue link. These do not establish what a typical buyer can achieve; the live account's results remain independently unconfirmed.
A historical test applies trading rules to old prices. It does not involve the same uncertainty as choosing trades before prices are known. Costs, execution and changing markets can make actual results worse. Even a genuine profitable live period cannot promise future returns.
Who decides whether a prop firm pays?
The sales material says unique source code helps avoid copy-trading detection and denied payouts. Its risk disclaimer also states that funded-account approvals and other outcomes are not guaranteed.
The prop firm controls its own conditions. Ask that firm directly whether the exact software and strategy are allowed. Obtain a written answer covering automated trading and shared strategy restrictions before buying a challenge. A seller's assurance cannot override the firm's contract.
If you have already bought the program
- Save the invoice, sales messages, contract and any signed guarantee. Note the purchase date and first access date.
- Describe the specific issue: missing access, a feature not supplied, a refund promise or trading losses. These are different complaints.
- Send a written request to the seller with the relevant evidence. If relying on a guarantee, track its deadline and requirements.
- If unresolved, ask your payment provider about dispute options and deadlines. Explain the facts accurately; dissatisfaction or trading losses do not automatically qualify for a refund.
The cited evidence does not establish customer losses. Read the restrictive terms carefully: they affect your options, but do not alone prove fraud.
