Forex GPT: FCA warning and what to do if you paid

What is Forex GPT?

The website forex-gpt.com asks visitors to complete a short quiz about their trading style. It presents AI as a way to improve trading decisions and offers a report. The page we checked also linked to WhatsApp and promoted a free signal.

This review concerns that exact domain. It does not cover every service with “Forex” or “GPT” in its name.

Why the FCA warning matters

On 20 October 2026, the UK's Financial Conduct Authority warned about forex-gpt.com. It named Facebook page 61562523293874, which matches the advertiser in our evidence. The regulator says the firm is not authorised by it and advises people to avoid dealing with it.

That is a specific regulatory warning, not a criminal judgment or proof that every visitor lost money. UK authorisation also does not answer every licensing question in other countries.

A quiz is not a safety check

The website describes its information as educational. That disclaimer does not turn the FCA warning into an approval. Nor does a claim about thousands of users establish who holds your money.

The homepage does not clearly name the legal operator or the broker behind any later offer. Before discussing a deposit, ask the caller for the company name, exact website and written contract.

If a caller contacted you after the quiz, compare the name they used with the name on your contract and payment receipt. These may be different businesses. Do not assume a caller is authorised because they know the answers you entered.

If you contacted Forex GPT or sent money

  1. Save the route you followed. Keep the advert, website address, messages and the caller's number. Keep the full payment receipt, including the recipient.
  2. Pause further payments. A demand for a tax, deposit or account upgrade should not be treated as proof that a withdrawal is waiting.
  3. Tell your payment provider what happened. For a card or bank payment, ask about available dispute or recall options. For crypto, keep the transaction hash and contact the exchange you used. A refund is not guaranteed.
  4. Protect access. If you shared a password or allowed remote access to your device, secure the affected accounts from a trusted device.

Keep withdrawal requests and replies in writing. Ask for the applicable withdrawal rules; the cited evidence does not establish successful payouts for this service.
