What is L6 offering?
The Facebook page L6-Wiederaufbaufonds invites people who lost money through online fraud to submit their case. It promises a free, confidential legal review and a report explaining possible action.
Although the name includes “Fonds”, the advert we recorded offers legal help. It does not establish a compensation fund that will reimburse your loss.
Meta listed advert 1787726632498583 as active on 20 October 2026, with a start date of 4 October and page ID 61594238773945. Its visible enquiry link uses Facebook and does not identify an external destination.
What does the accreditation claim prove?
The advert claims accreditation by courts, regulators and a body it calls Bundesanstalt für Opferstatistik. Reliable evidence of that body's role and the claimed accreditation is absent from the material supporting this review. Ask for the exact issuing authority and a checkable record.
That is an unresolved claim, not proof that an organisation cannot exist. The useful test is a named lawyer and an entry in the official professional directory. Ask which body issued the approval, its reference number and what it actually covers.
For a lawyer practising in Germany, use the directory linked by the German Federal Bar, BRAK. Match the person's full name and office details. A genuine person's entry does not by itself prove that a Facebook page belongs to them.
If you contacted L6-Wiederaufbaufonds
Before sending statements or identity documents, ask who would act for you, who receives the data and what fees could follow the free review. Confirm the contact independently through the listed law office.
If you already paid a caller using this name, contact your bank or payment provider promptly about a recall or dispute. Keep the invoice, recipient details and messages. Record the original loss separately from any later recovery fee.
If anyone asks for account passwords or one-time codes, do not provide them. A description of a lost payment is different from access to the account used to make it.
