Hortmann recovery Facebook ad: check who is contacting you
Original ad reviewed below. Its claims are the advertiser’s, not our findings. Open the full ad image →

Original advert image or video preview, saved from Meta on 20 October 2026. Statements shown are the advertiser’s claims, not our endorsement.

What does the advert offer?

A Facebook page called Hortmann Anwaltskanzlei & für Vermögensrückgewinnung advertises help for people who have lost money online. It claims clients in more than 60 countries, cooperation with authorities and AI-assisted tracing.

The strongest claim is a success rate of up to 98%. The advert does not explain which cases were counted, what “success” means or how much money clients received. Tracing a payment and returning it to its owner are different outcomes.

Meta showed advert 2009166659771637 as active when we checked on 20 October 2026. Its listed start date was that day. The advertiser's page ID is 61553540934123. These identifiers matter because several pages can use a similar name.

Is it the real Hortmann Law firm?

The genuine law firm has a website at hortmannlaw.com. Its involvement in this Facebook advert is unconfirmed. The advert uses a Facebook enquiry link without clearly identifying the business that receives your details.

A name, photograph or law-firm logo does not settle that question. If someone claims to represent the real firm, use contact details you find independently on its official website to check the person's name and the exact page. Do not use a phone number supplied only by the caller you are checking.

The available evidence does not identify the page's operator or establish a customer loss tied to this exact advert.

What to do if you contacted this advertiser

If you left your phone number: save the page name and any later messages. Before sending financial records, ask for the named lawyer, the legal business and written fees. Do not assume a caller is genuine because they know the amount you lost.

If you paid a recovery fee: contact the payment provider promptly. Explain that you are concerned about the recipient's identity and ask about stopping, recalling or disputing the payment. Keep the recipient account, receipt and messages together. A refund is not guaranteed.

If you shared account access: change passwords through the official service, end unfamiliar sessions and contact the account provider. Never hand over one-time codes or a wallet's recovery phrase to prove you own the money.
