What the Canadian warnings actually say
Unrive presents itself as an automated investment platform at unrive.io, with an address in Mississauga, Canada. The local financial regulator has warned about this exact website.
On 20 October 2026, the Ontario Securities Commission said Unrive was not registered in Ontario to trade in securities, such as shares. The notice published by the Canadian Securities Administrators lists the same domain and address as the website.
An earlier warning from the British Columbia Securities Commission, dated 17 September 2026, says Unrive is not registered with that regulator either. These are findings about registration in two Canadian provinces, not a court ruling that every customer has lost money.
A Canadian address, a browser padlock or a statement about following financial rules does not replace permission to provide an investment service. If a caller gives you a licence number, match the legal company, permitted activity and website in the regulator's own register. A certificate sent by the caller is not enough.
What does the $250 offer mean?
The English homepage invites people to turn $250 into more than $6,000 in seven days. At $6,000, the balance would be 24 times the starting amount: $5,750 profit, or 2,300%, in a week. That is our calculation of the advertised claim, not a trading result.
The same page also mentions 15–40% monthly returns and, elsewhere, 2% in the first month. Those are very different outcomes, without a consistent explanation of what an ordinary depositor should expect or how the results were independently checked.
An AI label does not make a return reliable. The practical questions are who holds the money and what evidence shows it can be returned. A growing number on a dashboard does not answer them.
Why positive Unrive reviews are not enough
Unrive publishes its own review-style pages, including Polish and Czech versions, presenting the platform as trustworthy. Those pages belong to the seller. They are not an independent test.
The homepage attributes favourable comments to Tim Cook, Elon Musk and Satya Nadella. The reviewed page does not link to an original interview or announcement supporting these endorsements. A familiar face beside a quotation is not proof of approval.
A promotional review in search results sends readers to a sign-up page through another domain. Automated website-rating services also reach conflicting conclusions. Neither a reassuring review nor a high score establishes that a company is authorised or a withdrawal was paid.
This report concerns unrive.io. A different Unrive domain, a similar name or an unrelated software product is not automatically the same business. The reviewed public material does not establish a verified individual loss or confirmed customer payout. The warnings and the site's own claims are the basis of our assessment.
Can you withdraw money from Unrive?
The public terms make withdrawals conditional on identity and compliance checks and allow delays, without a numerical processing deadline in the withdrawal clause. The separate abuse policy also allows funds to be withheld. These are stated conditions, not proof of a particular customer's experience.
Requesting a withdrawal and receiving the money are different things. Identity checks can be normal at a regulated provider. In your case, ask for the precise reason, missing information and a written decision date. Keep the request reference, replies and terms that applied when you paid.
If a new payment is demanded to release an existing balance, do not pay an unexplained tax, insurance or unlocking charge under pressure. This is a precaution for anyone facing that demand, not a claim that Unrive has made it in a verified case.
If you contacted Unrive or already sent money
You left contact details but have not paid. Pause the deposit. Ask for the legal company and registration, then check them independently. Do not install remote-access software or share banking codes with a caller.
You paid by card or bank transfer. Contact your bank or card provider promptly. Explain the promise, what happened and who received the money. Ask about a transfer recall or card dispute and applicable deadlines. Describe an approved payment honestly; do not call it unauthorised if you approved it. Recovery is not guaranteed.
You sent cryptocurrency. Contact the exchange through its official support channel. Provide the transaction hash, destination wallet, network and time. Ask it to flag the address and preserve records. A completed blockchain transfer usually cannot simply be reversed.
Someone accessed your device or account. End the remote session. Change affected passwords from a trusted device and inform your bank if financial access was exposed. Never share a wallet seed phrase.
Keep one folder with the original advert or page, messages, agreement, payment receipts, recipient details and withdrawal replies. Report suspected fraud to the police and the relevant financial regulator in your country. A report documents the case; it does not itself return the money. Our withdrawal guide explains the next steps.
If a new caller promises guaranteed recovery for an advance fee, check the offer using our recovery-service guide.
