Is Tesla X Trade safe to use?

The ASIC warning is a clear reason to stop and check before paying. It concerns Tesla X Trade at teamxvest.com.

ASIC says the firms on its investor alert for Tesla X Trade lack the Australian licences described there. They are not allowed to offer investments in Australia.

This is an Australian warning. It is not a court ruling about every website that uses a similar name.

What exactly does the ASIC record say?

The entry names Tesla X Trade. It gives www.teamxvest.com as the website and [email protected] as the email address.

It also lists Tesla X and TeamXVest as other names. Both the added date and the updated date are 29 February 2024.

These details come from ASIC's downloadable alert records, entry 1671. For easier reading, open the alert page above and search for teamxvest.com.

The record was still present when we checked it on 16 October 2026. That does not mean the website itself is still taking payments.

Does this cover every Tesla X website?

No. Compare the full address, including its ending. A shared name does not prove shared ownership.

We have not verified that tslshares.com is run by the same people. The ASIC entry reviewed here does not name that address.

Keep the address you actually used. Also note the payee on your bank statement. It may differ from the name on the site.

No. A brand name on a trading page does not prove backing from the company or person it brings to mind.

The ASIC entry does not establish such backing. We have not verified an official link for the service named in this warning.

For any investment offer, check the legal firm and its permission to provide the service. ASIC's checks before investing explain how to start in Australia.

Outside Australia, use the financial watchdog for your own country. A licence in one place does not settle the rules elsewhere.

What should I do if I paid Tesla X Trade?

Pause further payments. Contact the bank, card provider or payment service you used. Ask whether it can stop or recover the payment.

For crypto, contact the service used to send it too. Give the transaction details. A report does not guarantee that a transfer can be reversed.

Keep a short payment record: date, amount, currency and recipient. Save chats, emails, withdrawal requests and any terms you received.

These are general response steps from Moneysmart's scam guidance. They are not evidence that every listed problem occurred in this case.

What if someone asks for another fee to release my money?

Ask your bank to review the request before paying more. An extra payment is not proof that you will receive a withdrawal.

Be cautious if a new caller promises to recover everything for an upfront fee. Moneysmart also warns about follow-up recovery scams.

There is no need to work out every detail first. We cannot promise a refund. Contact your bank promptly if a recent payment may still be stopped.
