What does the FCA warning say?

The FCA is the UK's financial watchdog. Its warning first appeared on 10 February 2020. It was last updated on 9 February 2026.

It tells people to avoid this firm. You can read the FCA warning and website list yourself.

This is a UK warning. It does not show the licence status of every firm in every country. Nor does it prove who runs each similar-looking website.

Which Immediate Edge website should you check?

Match the full web address, not just the name. The FCA lists several addresses. Examples include immediate-edge.co.uk, immediateedgeai.com and immbt.com.

A different ending or spelling matters. A site missing from a warning list is not proof that it is safe.

Write down the address you used. Also keep the name shown on your payment. These may be different.

Does the warning mean you cannot get money back?

The FCA says dealings with this firm lack UK Ombudsman and FSCS cover. Those are UK complaint and compensation schemes.

But the warning also says some scam payments may have separate protection. Your payment type, date and country matter. A bank claim is not the same as a claim against the firm.

What should you do if you already paid?

Contact your bank or card provider through its own app or the number on your card. Explain when you paid, who received it and why you think something is wrong.

Ask it to check whether it can stop or recover the payment. If you paid with crypto, contact the service you used to send it too.

Keep a short record of each payment: date, amount, currency and recipient. Save emails, chats and any request for extra money.

These are general scam-response steps. Australia's Moneysmart guidance also explains why prompt contact with your payment provider matters.

What if someone asks for a release fee?

Pause before sending more. Ask your bank to review the request first. Paying another fee does not prove that a withdrawal will arrive.

This is a general warning, not a finding that every Immediate Edge website makes this demand. The FBI explains this extra-payment pattern in fake investment schemes.

Want to talk it through?

Contact your bank first if a payment is at risk. Our call is free; we cannot promise a refund.
