How we checked this case: We checked the ASIC and SEC Ghana notices, including the exact website addresses listed in ASIC’s warning. We did not test an account or contact the operator. Individual outcomes remain unverified.

Why are Yepbit users reporting withdrawal problems?

You can see a balance, but cannot get your money out. The reason given may sound official. With Yepbit, there is a specific claim you can check: whether Australia's regulator froze the funds.

ASIC says it received several reports from people unable to withdraw from Yepbit or Yepbit Exchange. It also says it did not freeze those funds. That matters if a contact blames an ASIC audit for your delay.

We cannot see your account or confirm its balance. A screen showing a profit does not prove that money is available to withdraw.

Did ASIC freeze Yepbit funds?

No, according to ASIC's warning. The regulator rejects the claim that its audits or rules stopped Yepbit from returning funds. Save the message if someone has given you that reason. Keep the date and the sender's details.

Ask for the exact public notice behind any new claim. Check it on the regulator's own website. A forwarded screenshot or logo is not enough.

Which Yepbit websites does the warning cover?

ASIC's notice links alerts for yepbit6.com, ybtaa.com, yepbit.xyz and yepbit.net. It says it has removed several websites linked to Yepbit through its takedown work.

Compare those addresses with your records. A similar name alone does not prove that another website has the same operator. We have not established who runs every site using the Yepbit name.

A broken login cannot tell you where your money is. Do not install an app from a new message to regain access. Do not give a new contact your password, one-time code or wallet recovery phrase.

Is Yepbit licensed? What have regulators said?

Australia: ASIC says Yepbit has no Australian Financial Services Licence and warns against dealing with it. The statement concerns services in Australia; it is not a worldwide court ruling.

Ghana, 15 July 2026: the Securities and Exchange Commission warned about Yepbit Exchange and Bonchat. It described a suspected fraudulent investment scheme and said both were unlicensed by the SEC. That is the regulator's stated concern, not a court judgment.

The Ghana notice names both platforms. It does not establish the role of every Bonchat user or prove that every account using that name belongs to the same operator.

What is known, and what remains unclear?

The official notices support serious concerns: reported withdrawal failures, missing local licences and a rejected claim about an ASIC freeze.

They do not give us a verified total loss, a complete list of affected users or the outcome of each account. We have not tested an account or contacted the operator. We cannot confirm whether a particular withdrawal has since been paid.

We do not treat review counts as victim counts. Nor do we treat an advert for a recovery service as proof that anyone recovered money.

What should you do if Yepbit will not pay?

  1. Contact the provider you used to pay. If you suspect deception, tell your bank or card provider promptly. Ask which dispute or recall options apply. If you sent crypto, contact the exchange you used with the transaction ID and recipient address.
  2. Save a clear record. Keep the full website address, payment dates, amounts and currencies. Save the withdrawal request, support replies and any claim about a regulator freeze. Keep copies outside the platform.
  3. Do not add money to unlock a payout. Be cautious about new demands for tax, verification fees or another deposit. A promise that one more payment will release your balance is not proof.
  4. Secure your accounts. Change reused passwords. Remove access you gave to a remote helper. Contact your bank if you shared payment details. Never share a wallet recovery phrase.
  5. Report the facts. Use your local police and financial regulator's official channels. In Australia, Moneysmart links the reporting and support routes. Tell them what happened, without guessing who is behind the platform.

Our withdrawal problems guide explains how to organise these checks. For official reporting routes, see how to report a scam.

Can you get money back from Yepbit?

That depends on the payment route, dates, recipient and rules in your country. A complaint does not itself reverse a payment. Crypto transfers are usually hard to reverse. A separate bank dispute may still need to be assessed on its own facts.

Do not trust a stranger who guarantees recovery. Be especially careful if they ask for a new payment or access to your wallet. Our recovery service checks explain what to watch for.

Thinking of investing in Yepbit?

Read the official warnings before paying. Verify the exact business and website through the regulator that covers the offered service in your country. A company registration certificate is not an investment licence.
