A saved contact name can hide the difference
After saving a number as “Pinnacle adviser”, your phone may show that label rather than the number. The label is your address-book entry, not verification of the caller. Open the contact details and compare the full number with the FCA warning and the firm's independently obtained contact.
The same applies to an email display name. The warned-about address is [email protected]. The genuine firm's domain, pinnaclewealth.co.uk, must not be listed as though it were the scam website.
Confirm the specific proposal
Use the official register or genuine website to ask whether the adviser, investment and payment instructions are theirs. A copied FCA reference or a professionally formatted brochure cannot answer that question. Do not let the suspicious caller conduct the verification for you by transferring the call to a supposed compliance colleague.
This warning establishes an impersonation risk. It does not show that every company with “Pinnacle” in its name is connected, nor does it provide a verified total of losses.
What makes a useful report after payment
Prepare a short timeline: first contact, proposed investment, each transfer, promised payment date and any change in instructions. Include the exact phone number, email address, beneficiary and transaction reference. Keep the original files as well as readable screenshots.
Tell your bank that the FCA has identified the contact as a clone and ask about recall or dispute options. Do not assume that protection attached to the genuine regulated business will cover an impersonator; the payment-provider process is a separate question.
If someone now offers to recover the money for an advance fee, check that offer separately using our recovery-service guide. A second caller knowing your loss is not proof of official involvement. If you contacted pinnaclesweb.com and need help organising the situation, request a free telephone consultation. We can explain practical options without promising repayment.

Alphavista Exchange
alphavistaexchange.com
Alphavista Exchange advertised investment plans paying up to 300% per trade alongside instant withdrawals and insurance of up to $1 million. Its claimed authorisations were not matched to Alphavista in the CySEC and Seychelles FSA lists checked on 4 November 2026. These combined warning signs support our suspicion of possible fraud. Do not send money on the strength of these claims. The offer described here comes from indexed copies; the website did not open during the latest check.

FXJunction
fxjunction.com
FXJunction links traders to signal providers, but a broker account balance and FXJunction credits are different things. Its FAQ sets a $100 minimum for redeemable credits and excludes bonus credits. On 4 November 2026, the FAQ said providers keep 70%, or 80% for referred copiers, while the provider page promised 90%. Ask which terms apply to your account. This inconsistency and an old complaint justify scrutiny, but do not prove fraud.

HOS Broker / AtlasBrokerOption
hosbroker.site ws.hosbroker.site statsglt.hosbroker.site
HOS Broker searches lead to hosbroker.site, a trading page using several different names. Its withdrawal-policy link opens no policy, and its legal-page link returned an error. We consider these serious warning signs of possible fraud and would not deposit while the operator and withdrawal rules remain unclear.
